Pigalle basketball court, Duperré

Located 22 Duperré street, not far from Maison Mère, this legendary court of Paris has just freshened up for the third time. Within the framework of a partnership between Nike, the store and local brand Pigalle Basketball and the creative studio III-Studio, this unique basketball court brings joy to the local youth, as well as tourists fans of photography.

Authentic and unusual alley, this cité bordered by artist studios and fully covered in flowers is a haven of peace in the midst of the Pigalle’s tumult. You can observe the facade of the past public baths, decorated with earthenware-tile facings, beautifully well preserved.

Passage Jouffroy 

The Passage Jouffroy is one of the most legendary passages of Paris.
Located on Grand Boulevards and in the extension of Passage des Panoramas, it owes its renown to its unique architecture made of glass and its marble flooring. It hosts unmissable places of the capitale like the Grevin Museum, and many atypical stores: ancient canes, old books, paper specialists…

Passerelle Pierre Semard 

On Bellefond Street, this bridge located to the North of Square Montholon offers one of the most beautiful views of the 9th district of Paris. A surprise awaits you when going down Pierre Semard Street: above the bridge you can find one of the rare emblems with bees instead of ‘fleurs de lys’, referring to the construction date, under Napoleon 1st… but also referring to Maison Mère’s bees!

Square Montholon 

Lung of Village Montholon, this square situated downwards from hôtel Maison Mère is an unmissable place in our neighborhood. Two oriental plane trees reaching 30 meters high are planted in the central lawn, as well as a beautiful sculpture honouring the ‘Catherinettes’ of Catherine the Saint. 
A relaxing break next to the Parisian tumult.

Gustave Moreau Museum

This house-studio of the 9th district preserves the collections of the painter Gustave Moreau, where more than 1300 paintings, watercolors and paper boards, and 5000 drawings are exhibited. The atypical decoration immerses the visitors in the universe of a house (a bit like Maison Mère) and the majestuous spiral staircase is really worth it.
