This park located in the Quartier de l’Europe leaves you a choice of 8 hectares to find your perfect picnic spot. Will you prefer to stay by the rotunda built as part of the Wall of the Farmers-General, by the pond bordered by a Corinthian colonnade, or on the spot marked by the first landing from a parachute in 1797 ?

The Bois de Vincennes and its castle

East of Paris, the Bois de Vincennes spreads over 995 hectares. To oxygenate your lungs on a walk, you can follow the rivers which connect the four lakes. The sporting trails offer a variety of exercises (including for dogs, in the reserved areas). For a picnic, the surroundings of the Daumesnil Lake are especially pleasant.

The Luxembourg garden, around the French Senate

In this garden of 25 hectares, a large basin marks the limit between a French-style part and another part in English style. Its diversity arouses all senses : you can stroll between the Senate, the Medicis fountain, the greenhouses and flowerbeds, the the apiary, the tennis courts, the playgrounds...

The Louis XIII square, in the heart of the Marais

Located at the center of the Place des Vosges, this square is a perfect place to relax and refuel after a shopping spree in the iconic Marais district or a visit at the Carnavalet Museum or the Maison de Victor Hugo. Oftentimes in the summer, the arcades are filled with musicians because of the quality of their acoustics. The linden trees and fountains offer a refreshing environment.

The Buttes-Chaumont park, the green lung of Paris

This park is the favorite of Larissa, our Sales director at Maison Mère. It’s also the largest and the steepest. The uneven landscape is a mixture of the English and Chinese gardening designs. The park is perfect for nature lovers, ornithologists, athletes and families. For young and old, the park offers a carousel, a Guignol theatre, waffle huts, pony rides...

The Seine river banks, on the waterside

To picnic as a true Parisian, settle on the quaysides of the Seine with their iconic cobblestones and unique atmosphere. The most prized sections are around the Ile Saint-Louis and the Austerlitz Bridge in the 5th arrondissement. Feel free to wander until you find your own perfect spot.

The Garden of Arts-Albert Scwhitzer, renovated in 2020

Near the Cité internationale, the garden recently reopened after its renovation and expansion. Now, it brings together the garden of the administrative court, the Garden of Arts and the Albert Schweitzer square. The lawns offer the perfect spot for a picnic on the grass before a walk in the alleys. A playground is available for children.

The Montholon square, two minutes from Maison Mère

Picnic under the shade provided by the oriental plane trees planted under Napoleon or under the gaze of the female workers sculpted by Lorieux in 1925. Within this historical space, you will also find resting areas and playgrounds, between various species of trees.
